The seating surface is available in two construction options. The phenolic version features a solid white, half-inch-thick panel with rounded edges for comfort and safety. Additionally, the padded version includes two inches of white Naugahyde upholstery that encapsulates marine-grade plywood and foam padding. This design improves comfort while maintaining moisture resistance.

Stability remains a key feature of this folding seat. Adjustable rubber feet provide secure floor contact and help compensate for minor surface variations. Furthermore, the stainless steel cross member includes friction fasteners that hold the seat firmly in the upright position when folded. All seat surfaces are secured with stainless steel screws, which enhances corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
